What can you use the app for?

Nostradamical is a platform that you can use to demonstrate your prediction skills. Everyone has a view of what will happen in the future, so do you keep it to yourself or do you tell everyone about it? Nostradamical is a great way to publish your predictions and see whether or not they come true. There are many different types of prediction that you can make, including on business, politics, entertainment and celebrity topics. Any predictions that you make can be published in seconds; they are published to the internet and sites like Friendfeed and Twitter which makes them searchable by all of the major search engine. You will be able to get some great advice about all sorts of things, and finding out what’s going on in the world. All of your predictions can then be published straight to your Twitter account to keep your friends up to date. Because so many people predict different events it’s possible to look at the chances of something happening. One person may be wrong but if a large proportion of people are going one way then they are likely to be right.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Nostradamical was founded in August 2008 by Brad Young. The company is based in Worcestershire, England and has a small team of dedicated employees.

What are the differences to other apps?

Unlike other prediction sites this one does not involve virtual currency. You simply state your prediction and then see whether or not it comes true. It also has the advantage of being able to be easily incorporated with Twitter and other social networking sites. Nostradamical allows you to predict on a variety of different subjects, and you are not limited to just news. However the site does not seem as popular as some of the other prediction sites.

Alternative Apps
How does the web app look and feel to use?

Nostradamical looks like a nice site and it is very easy to use, you can find a variety of different questions all organized into different categories. Clicking on one will then bring up a page showing the likelihood of whatever happening actually coming true. You can even look at what individual people have predicted which makes it a great place to find people with similar opinions as yourself. It’s also very easy to create your own questions, although for that you will first need to register or sign in.

How does the registration process work?

Registering for an account at nostradamical doesn’t take very long at all. The “Sign up for a free account” link is at the top of every page. Clicking that takes you to a very short registration form which you will have to fill in. You will also have to verify your email address by clicking a link in the email that gets sent to you.

What does it cost to use the application?

Nostradamical is completely free to use, the site is supported by adverts down the side of the screen. These aren’t too bad and don’t change the experience.

Who would you recommend the application to?

Nostradamical is great for anyone that loves social networking sites and has their own opinion. If you love being right then you will like being able to show people when you manage to predict something that later comes true!
